Welcome to Week #40 of this Wednesday Link Party
Note: Each week I try to feature at least three posts that were linked up during the previous session. It isn’t possible for me to read every post and so for now I plan to choose a single-digit number and read all the entries (they are numbered) which contain that number. If you are featured I will now be sharing your post on Facebook during the week.
Features from last week–>>
If ever there was a post I needed to read at the exact moment I read it, it was this one entitled We Don’t Do the Church Thing. I think my favorite line was, “People are just people and unfortunately they are still people in the church, too.” It’s an excellent read by Hope in the Healing.
I cried when I read this one called But What Will They Think? I cried for the brokenness of spirit as well as family. I cried because I know what it is to have the ground drop out from under you. I cried because divorce is a wound that bleeds and heals and get scratched open and bleeds again. If you get a minute (oh, please take a minute) drop by to give Krista from The Mommy Calling some good old fashioned Christian love.
I’ve been perusing the archives over at Jill’s Home Remedies as I attempt to prepare for the onslaught of winter illness that will surround us. I’ve watched videos on making tinctures and salves and I’ve tried some things for the first time thanks to my studies there. If I’m not careful somebody might mistake me for a natural mama. Jill’s post Red Clover Lemonade offers yet another power-packed healthy alternative to the sugared down variety.
This party is open to all kinds of posts related to the Christian lifestyle. These can be homemaking, homeschooling, pregnancy, nursing, cooking, baking, crafting, Bible Study, etc. Please link in the spirit of kindness…inappropriate links will be removed.
